If you have a photograph that is showing signs of age, you're not alone. Before you proceed with the conservation of your photo a few things must be determined. Is the photo valuable to you personally or does it have potential monetary value? If it is considered an investment quality photograph then it is important that we place emphasis on retaining the original photograph. (i.e., an original Ansel Adams).

Ponsford offers traditional photo conservation with one of the few photo conservators in the country. However, if your photo is a family picture and the image on the photo has sentimental value, then it may be more important to preserve the actual image (i.e., a great grandmother). If this is the case then you should consider having Ponsford perform a digital reconstruction of the image.
